N. Androulakis harshly criticized “the company of Mr. Kasselakis, who will not stop surprising us. From the cruise with the koto, he informs us that he does not want the votes of the “Spartans” and shortly after the MEP candidate and his cousin declared that the votes of the extreme right are welcome.
Strongly disapproved in his intervention from the floor of the Parliament, the Nikos Androulakis, yesterday’s (Wednesday) episode with the fist fight between the MPs of the “Spartians” and the Hellenic Solution, which he described as “a day of shame for the Greek Parliament, with MPs exchanging vulgar and impermissible expressions inside this chamber and shaking hands in the peristyle” .
He added that nothing justifies these unacceptable images, while he was equally caustic about Mr. Velopoulos’ reports on who can go to church on Easter, calling on the leadership of the Church to take a stand. “They are the same ones who did not hesitate, insulting the Christian faith, to sell supposed letters of Jesus. Is it not heretical for someone to falsify even the official dogma in order to get a few votes? Because in the end we will go crazy in here,” said Mr. Androulakis and emphasized: “It is our duty not to let extreme elements tarnish the institution of the Parliament. It is the duty of all democratic forces to we protect Parliamentarianism, not only in words but also in deeds. Daily. With our political behavior, but also with our political initiatives”.
Also, the president of PASOK-Movement of Change commented on the decision of the Supreme Court to exclude the “Spartans” from the European elections, underlining that “we also contributed to this particular decision with the memorandum we filed. After all, the confrontation with fascism and inhumanity is valuable and not based on electoral calculations.”
At this point, he harshly criticized “the company of Mr. Kasselakis, who will not stop surprising us. From the cruise with the koto, he informs us that he does not want the votes of the “Spartans” and shortly after the MEP candidate and his cousin declared that the votes of the extreme right are welcome.
“You didn’t file a memorandum for the ‘Spartans.’ When you were pressed, you filed a statement and for all this you received congratulations from the parliamentary representative of the convicted criminal Kasidiaris. You even had the audacity to call us out because we did our duty to neo-Nazi criminals by filing a statement on time and not late. For some of you, the barrel has no bottom”, emphasized Mr. Androulakis.
He added, attacking the ND, that “your strategy against the extreme right was revealed by the martyred Mrs. Christofilopoulou: the nomination of Beleris was not done with European and national criteria, but with vote-seeking motives to deal with electoral losses to the extreme right”.
Regarding the bill to deal with climate change and concerns, among other things, the establishment of a Water Management Agency in Thessaly, the president of PASOK-KINAL expressed his party’s disagreement, while criticizing the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the government for the “Aegis” program. “The Prime Minister’s speech yesterday lacked self-criticism about what went wrong last year. What went wrong in the planning, what was done better this year in the context of prevention. Do not repeat the mistake you made in Dadia, when while the data showed that the Evros and Rhodope region are facing the worst drought in recent years, you did not take any additional measures, resulting in last year’s horrific destruction of this unique ecosystem,” he noted.
The president of PASOK-KINAL claimed that with the specific bill the government favors the concession of specific forests to large economic interests with the aim of their economic exploitation and less their protection and ensuring the sustainability of their ecosystems.
Mr. Androulakis’s disagreement with the establishment of the Water Management Agency of Thessaly was complete.
“We proposed the creation of an independent body, which will work with the system of Project Management Teams. A task force in European standards, with the substantial participation of the region, municipalities and institutional bodies, ensuring transparency and speed. What do you bring instead? An anonymous company which is completely controlled by the representatives of the state and where the local government has a spectator role”.
In addition, he observed that “you are following the model of the Development of the Municipality of Athens. Any self-governors you do not control, you deforest them from responsibilities and powers. You did it with the Municipality of Athens a few days before Mr. Doukas took over and you are doing it now with the governor of Thessaly, Mr. Kouretas.”
He also warned that this organization is entrusted, by private economy rules, with the management of the waters of Thessaly, in derogation of the current legislation, while at the same time it is also a provider of water services for irrigation water and an auditor, in fact replacing the state, as it will license the water uses.
Mr. Androulakis argued that “your goal is to completely control the next day of Thessaly, since through the company you will determine the Strategic Development Plan and through the water licensing which crops will be allowed and which will not.”
“Everything in the staff state, everything in the company of Megaros Maximos and Kyriakos Mitsotakis. This will not be accepted by us! I didn’t expect anything better from you, that while the accuracy is galloping, the prime minister celebrates seeing encouraging signs”, added Mr. Androulakis.
Concluding his speech, he fired at the government and the prime minister for accuracy, underlining that “the only thing Mr. Mitsotakis can celebrate is the pan-European accuracy championship that he rightfully deserves. On June 9, the citizens will give the answer.”
