Davi Brito, BBB 24 champion, spoke about the controversy regarding his ex-wife, Mani Reggo, on Domingão com Huck (Globo) this Sunday (28). The former app driver said throughout his participation in the reality show that he was married, but when he left he did not find his partner and stated that the two were just “getting to know each other”.
“We are talking; we are, like, dialoguing,” he stated. “But, like, all this controversy that’s going on, everything that’s going on on the internet, it’s just gossip. It’s just what people are inventing to try to take away my value. They say: ‘Wow, what Davi got so many things right in the program, so you can wait for him to slide on the banana so we can hit him until he falls, understand?’.”
Davi also said that he will not enter into this discussion, because “my private life, which is only up to me to resolve, you know?”. “I just needed some time after I left Big Brother to be able to think about what was happening to my life out here, you know? It was a lot,” he said.
The Bahian said he will use the mental strength he demonstrated on the program to address this issue. “The same person that I showed inside Big Brother, who is a well-positioned and strong person, I will be outside here too,” he said. “And if I took down a Goliath inside the house, I’m going to take down this Goliath outside too.”
The BBB winner also said he was still getting used to everything that was happening in his life. “Like, we spend 3 months there on Big Brother confined inside that house. So only those who go through that will understand what it’s like to be confined for 100 days inside a house seeing the same people every day, you know”, he said. “I went in there with 0 followers, right? At most, I had 56. I left with 10 million. So it was the first bombing I had ever had. The first bombshell I said: ‘Hey, what’s this thing that’s happening to me? ?’.”
“Soon afterwards, they filled me with even more information. Then my head started to change and, you know?”, he shared. “I was confused, I was in a state of shock. I said: what is happening to my life? Davi was also honored with the participation of Nadson, Ferinha, who performed on the Domingão stage. The ex-BBB used to sing the arrocha artist’s songs and ask for his songs at the party during confinement.
