The American pop star will not be alone, but in the company of other famous artists such as Cate Blanchett, French actor Omar Sy, “Oppenheimer” director Christopher Nolan, and Antoine Dupont in the 120th edition of the popular dictionary.

More than 150 new words have been added this year. Beyonce broke records this year with the song Texas Hold’Em of her album Cowboy Carter. She became the first black female artist to reach number one on the US country chart with this song.

It is not the first time that Beyonce’s name “enters” a dictionary. In fact, in 2004, the term bootylicious – made popular by Destiny’s Child’s hit of the same name, written by Beyonce – has been added to the Oxford Dictionary.
