Protesters Say Police ‘Use Rubber Bullets’ – Cops Succeed and Break Protesters’ Barricades
Tensions rose around 4 a.m. local time at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as police stormed the campus, breaking up makeshift barricades that had been set up by protesters earlier and making arrests.

Police, who had been building up their presence outside the university in recent hours, wearing helmets, gas masks and batons in hand stormed the camp that has been set up after they managed to break through barricades set up by protesters using protective gear. , according to CNN. About 300 – 500 policemen are operating in the camp.

Officers are transporting the detained protesters to buses that the police have set up in a parking lot just outside the campus.
Some protesters reported that police officers they shoot them with rubber bullets while at the same time flares are fired.
Earlier, the police had warned the protesters to vacate the campus.
