Adele on friendship with Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Richie: ‘Humanized Me’

Singer Adele, 33, revealed in a recent interview that she is friends with neighbors Jennifer Lawrence, 31, and Nicole Richie, 40, and that the artists have made a difference in her life. According to Adele, she started the friendship by always taking her son Angelo, 9, to school.

“They humanized me because I avoided talking to anyone who was already famous in any role, because I was like, ‘Well, I’m not famous.’ I’m very British,” said the singer in a conversation with Rolling Stone.

Recently, the British singer revealed to Vogue’s YouTube channel “73 Questions” that she has chewed gum by Celine Dion, 53, framed in her house.

She says that presenter James Corden knew of her fan love for the Canadian singer and gave the picture with the framed gum, which she got after working with Celine Dion. “And then he made her spit the gum on a piece of paper and framed it for me,” Adele said. “It’s my greatest possession,” he said with a smile.

The British singer also revealed that Dion’s song “My Heart Will Go On” is the song she played the most throughout her life. Adele met her idol in 2018 after attending one of her shows in Las Vegas and took a photo with her.

At the time, Dion shared a photo with Adele, who was wearing a sweatshirt with her face. The Canadian singer said she can’t do all the shows due to the flu. “I couldn’t do all of my shows, but I was thrilled that Adele came to one of them. I love her so much!”
