Eva Mendes impressed with her poses and her new photoshoot for People magazine. The 50-year-old actress glowed in a metallic ensemble, writing in her post: “La vida es un carnaval” (Life is a carnival).
“Golden girls from Cuba!”. This is what I answered when the magazine asked me to describe my style at the moment. “Can you imagine Blanche in one of these uniforms?”Mendes added, referring to the character played by Rue McClanahan on the ’80s sitcom.
Mendes explained about her new era of style: “I like dresses, curling my hair and wearing big hoops.
I don’t feel the need to show anything anymore. I’m fine. I feel like I did that early on and I look back and think, ‘Why did I do that? Maybe it’s because I have girls”explained.
The ‘Hitch’ star also made a reference to her co-star Ryan Gosling’s new film ‘The Fall Guy’ in another post, sharing a photo of herself in the matching gold cowboy look she’s wearing on screen.
“Do you believe in happy endings? Aliana & Space Cowboy finally together. If you know, you know….”she wrote, referring to the film’s characters.

Mendes and Gosling, 43, have been together since they both starred in 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines and share two daughters. She said in the interview that her partner supports her and is by her side, revealing that the two had made a deal, to retire from acting and become a full-time mother.
