Taylor Swift added her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department”to an already packed setlist, as he returned to the tour “Eras Tour” after a two-month break.

Swift had described her new record as “new works that reflect events, opinions and feelings from a fleeting and fateful moment in time – a moment that was both poignant and sad in equal measure”. In Paris on Thursday evening, May 9, 2024, he put it more succinctly: “Female rage, the musical”.

The Eras Tour has traveled to America, Asia and Australia. After concerts in 12 European countriess – including Spain, Germany, Ireland and Portugal – will return for a final run in the US and Canada. Swift’s UK concerts kick off on June 7 at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, before traveling to Liverpool, Cardiff and London’s Wembley Stadium.

On the first of her European dates, at the ‘La Défense’ arena in Paris, Swift added seven songs from her new 31-track album, including the single “Fortnight” and “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart”which chronicles the difficulties she experienced touring after a relationship split: “Every piece of me broke as the audience sang ‘more…more’… I cry a lot, but I’m so productive. The album dominated streaming services worldwide and tracks from it topped the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the top 14 in its week of release, breaking the record set by her previous album, ‘Midnights’.
