Chef Felipe Bronze used social media to report a robbery that occurred on Friday night (10), in Vila Isabel, north of Rio de Janeiro. With the collar of his shirt stained with blood, he said he reacted to the approach and was attacked with punches and butts to the head by the assailants.
“I’m fine. I was robbed a little while ago,” wrote Felipe Bronze in a story published on Instagram. Minutes later, he recorded a video telling what had happened. “”They stole my car, they hit me in the head. I reacted very badly, it was a bit of an ambush,” he said.
He continued detailing the robbery, “They knocked on my rear view mirror and I only opened the door to adjust the rear view mirror and I was taken over. In shock, I reacted by trying to disarm the guy and pointed his own gun at him. Self defense reflex… Another guy with a gun came and put the gun on my stomach and punched me in the head, they hit me with butts, I bled a little”, he explained.
Felipe, who is a judge on The Taste Brasil, on GNT, also reflected on the reaction he had against the criminals. “I reacted very badly. They pointed the gun at me. It was the biggest scare of my life. Don’t do that. It’s incredibly stupid”, said the chef, who had gone to Grajaú [bairro vizinho de Vila Isabel] pick up grandparents for a doctor’s appointment.
“The consultation went well and then I went to the police station, where they treated me a lot. I came to the Copa Star emergency room and there was no need for stitches. It just bled a lot because it’s a well-vascularized area. The results of the tomography came out: everything is fine. Up top, everything is beautiful.
In a statement, the Civil Police states that the case was registered at the 20th DP (Vila Isabel). “The victim was interviewed and sent for a criminal examination. Efforts are underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime. The investigation will be forwarded to the 18th DP (Praça da Bandeira), which will continue the investigation”, says the statement.
