Antonio, one of presenter Nadja Haddad’s twin sons, died this Sunday (12), on Mother’s Day. He had been born six months premature with his brother José. On social media, she mourned the loss.
“God collected our Antonio, my son became a little angel. Part of me died. But I know that God will give me strength, my husband and I, for our José. In such a short time, Antonio has united many people in prayer, in communion She taught me, as José has taught me, the strength and depth of being a mother”, she published.
“God collected him and spared him the pain, the suffering. And even though he gave us the worst pain in the world, I will continue with the faith that made me survive and that made me get pregnant”, he amended.
It was on April 28th that presenter Nadja Haddad, formerly of Bake Off Brasil (SBT), announced the birth of José and Antonio, her children with the mayor of Cajamar (interior of São Paulo), Danilo Joan (PSD) , to whom she has been married for 8 years.
The birth was premature. Nadja was around 24 weeks pregnant, that is, six months. “It wasn’t what we dreamed of, but it was God’s will,” she commented on social media. Nadja had already been admitted to the Pro Matre maternity hospital, in São Paulo, for about a month.
“It was all a scare, a rush,” he reported. “An intense mix of feelings. We repeat: it was God’s will. We always asked that they be born when they decided, with the Lord.”
