Edu Guedes turns 50, confirms deal with RedeTV! and plans wedding with Ana Hickmann

Soft-spoken and happy with his current situation, Edu Guedes states that he has never been so happy. Especially in love: he dates Ana Hickmann, a friend of more than 20 years with whom he says he fell madly in love. This Saturday (18), the cook and presenter celebrates his 50th birthday, talks about his life (check out the gallery) and projects a promising future, both professionally and personally.

“We’ve already talked about marriage, yes, we just haven’t set a date yet. But we believe in that in the future. First, she needs to resolve problems she’s going through. But the wedding will happen”, he says in a chat with F5.

The relationship with Hickmann became official in March after the difficult separation that the model and presenter went through. Ana accused Alexandre Correa, to whom she was married for 25 years, of assault. And in court there is an ongoing lawsuit between the chef and Alexandre for defamation.

Without delving into the controversy, Edu says that he likes the peaceful routine and getting together with family and friends to have dinners at home or on his farm, in Araras (SP). He often enjoys cooking as a couple, with the help of his loved one. In a recent video on the presenter’s YouTube channel, they both exchange compliments, and Ana ratifies the good loving moment by referring to him as “the great love of my life”.

On the professional side, Guedes confirms that he will soon face a new challenge. “The word retirement is difficult for me. Whenever I think about slowing down, a new path appears, which is now my return to RedeTV!, a channel that has always given me complete freedom”, he says, who spent the last four years on Band, but returns to the station where he was between 2015 and 2020 in charge of the programs Melhor Pra Você and Edu Guedes e Você.

“I’ve come very far [profissionalmente], to a point I never imagined I would be. I believe that a big step towards this was doing everything I love and bringing affection through it. I’m too happy,” she says.

Now in his fifties, the chef, who also races a Porsche and has a pet Beetle in the garage, says he is not afraid of getting older and wants to prepare himself to make the most of his maturity. “Of course, today my body doesn’t react like it did when I was 30, but playing sports helps me lead a good, healthier life. And racing in a car with younger people challenges me,” he says.
