At 51 years old, Eminem married his only daughter, Hailei Jade Mathers, last weekend.
The 28-year-old walked down the aisle with businessman Evan McClintock, with whom she has been dating since 2016. Hailei shared some of the photos from the ceremony on her Instagram profile this Monday (20).
According to TMZ, the wedding was intimate, with only close friends and family members. As tradition dictates, Eminem accompanied his daughter to the altar and danced the waltz with her. Still according to the American publication, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent were among the guests.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful wedding,” Hailei wrote on Instagram. “There were so many happy tears, smiles and laughter, so much love felt. Evan and I are so grateful for all the friends and family who traveled to be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.”
Eminem wore a black tuxedo, sneakers and posed for photos with sunglasses. The wedding took place during the day at a buffet in Battle Creek, Michigan.
The rapper, who sings about his daughter in several of his songs, has always stated in the lyrics of his raps that he is a loving father, the type who would do anything for his heiress.
