Tony Ramos was discharged from hospital this Friday (24), a week after undergoing surgery that removed a clot from his brain. The 75-year-old actor will continue his recovery at home.
“Hospital Samaritano Botafogo informs that actor Tony Ramos was discharged from hospital this Friday morning (24/5)”, says the note from the hospital where he was admitted.
The actor was discharged from the Intensive Treatment Center (CTI) last Wednesday (22). He had been under intense care since last Sunday (19), when he underwent new surgery to treat problems arising from a head operation carried out last week.
The new operation was necessary after the artist presented coagulation disorders that resulted in the formation of new intracranial hematomas.
The actor was admitted to the hospital after feeling unwell while recording a film. Both surgeries were considered a success and Tony’s recovery impressed doctors.
Ramos was recently on the air in the soap opera “Terra e Paixão”, by Walcyr Carrasco. In the 9pm show on Globo, he played the villain Antônio La Selva. The actor is also on the air in the series “Encandados” as the bookie Madurão.
