The Nobel Peace Prize-winning activist also made her acting debut with a one-off cameo in the British sitcom We Are Lady Parts, written and directed by Nida Manzoor.

In the second episode “Malala Made Me Do It” of the brand new season, the female leads perform a country song. According to ET, during a fantasy sequence with Western elements, Yousafzai appears dressed in Pakistani-inspired attire, sitting on a fake horse.

The Peacock sitcom debuted in 2021 and follows a punk-rock band of Muslim women called ‘Lady Parts’ who are looking for their big break. Starring Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Juliette Motamed, Lucie Shorthouse and Faith Omole.

Malala in her interview with Vogue emphasized: “I never expected to appear in a series.” “I’m finally showing my hidden talent” he said jokingly.
