The animation film “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” it officially has a release date. With one of the most legendary characters in video games, Lara Croft in the lead role, the film is expected on cinema screens Netflix on October 10th.

The official date was revealed by Netflix along with a brand new trailer showing Lara Croft in action and the narrator asking: “Ms Croft, how much longer can you hold out?”.

Hayley Atwell voices the British archaeologist who uncovers secrets in ancient and dangerous tombs, Allen Maldonado will be Zip and Earl Bailon reprises his role as Jonah from the video games.

Lara Croft has abandoned her friends to embark on more dangerous solo adventures. But he must return home when a dangerously powerful Chinese artefact is taken from Croft Manor by a thief with a strange personal connection.

Her daring pursuit will lead her on an adventure across the world and into the depths of forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to face her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to be. Tasha Huo will write and co-executive produce alongside Dmitri M. Johnson, Timothy I. Stevenson, Jacob Robinson, Dallas Dickinson, Howard Bliss and others.
