A Fazenda 13: Tiago Piquilo is the eighth eliminated from the reality show

by

It happened this Thursday night (11), the eighth elimination of A Fazenda 13 (RecordTV). With 26.97% of the votes, the public decided for the departure of Tiago Piquilo. Sthe showed popular preference by winning 40.06% of the votes and staying on the reality show, Dayane received 33.07%.

Dayane went to Roça on the advice of the farmer Marina Ferrari. She said that the artist usually has a speech in defense of women, but speaks ill of other people. Sthe, on the other hand, received six votes from fellow inmates. She had the right to pull a pawn from the stall, and chose James, claiming the other options were her friends.

the poll of F5 he pointed out that Dayane would leave the game with a slight difference to Sthe. Tiago, on the other hand, had a large advantage, with 51% of popular taste, a result that did not materialize.

Tiago became known to the general public by winning the third season of the now extinct program Fama (Globo, 2002-2005). During the reality musical he met Hugo, with whom he started to form a country duo. Together they have released seven albums, the most recent being “Ao Vivo em Goiânia”, from 2018.

In July, he took over the conversation circles and social networks after announcing that he would undergo a phalloplasty, the name given to penile enlargement surgery. The courage to divulge something intimate, which even anonymous people would hesitate to share, came from the desire to talk about the topic, which, in his words, “brings suffering and sadness into the lives of many men and women”.

“Since when I had the operation, I thought of taking information, with the best intention and breaking, at least a little bit, of this taboo that disguises a lot of prejudice”, argued the singer at the time to F5. “I confess that I didn’t see any problem and I didn’t feel inferior in anything, since so much is done with the evolution of medicine and various procedures that exist to help people feel good and happy.”

Tiago says that he refused several invitations from radio and TV stations and also from news portals to talk about phalloplasty, because he didn’t want the subject to be trivialized, but discussed in a light, respectful and serious manner. “I didn’t intend to encourage promiscuity or encourage wrong things. None of that”, points out the musician.

Soon after the surgery, he announced that singer Tânia Mara, 38, had broken up with him. The two had met when they were judges on the reality musical Canta Comigo (Record). “Imagine you being with a guy and overnight you wake up with your name involved in every story?”, he commented. “And the worst of it: people joking, talking, joking, and taking it all out of the fun? It’s terrible.”

The singer started his career early. At the age of eight, he already performed in churches and festivals in the city of Fartura, 357 kilometers from São Paulo. At 17, when he was still trying to make his artistic career happen, he was surprised by a stroke suffered by his father, which led him to take over the family business, but without giving up on what he most enjoyed doing: singing.

Three years later, his life would change when he participated in the third season of Fama (Globo), from which he would emerge as champion. The important detail is that this was the first edition of the reality musical in which the participants who would follow the attraction were chosen by the public.
