Favorite singer and songwriter Yannis Kotsira hosted yesterday at The 2night ShowThe Grigoris Arnautoglou.
The two talked about a lot starting their conversation with his creative side. When is he inspired and when does he fail to be creative?
“When I’m upset, I can’t make music. I fall into deep depression and I don’t want anyone” he said at first and then he emphasized: “In recent years, when I have a beautiful family, my wife Katerina and my children, I keep writing and producing beautiful things».

He then spoke about the anxieties he has in relation to his children:
“My children are now five and a half and eight. I don’t know, baby Grigori, everything worries me about their growth. Everything stresses me out. You wake up in the morning, let’s say you’ve caught a coronavirus and you don’t know what dawns on you.
You raise your children, send them to Thessaloniki to study and a non-existent state kills them. What worries me? It’s existence… Surviving in this wonderful country is ultimately a miracle! That’s awesome»

While at another point of the interview, he surprised the presenter with what he said about the trappers
“We’ve demonized trap, but it’s part of rap. Most kids listen to rap, not trap, the majority of the youth listen to LEX, Speech of Honor, 12th Monkey and more” he clarified and continued: “I like them very much, I consider them modern poets. I think most of them come from the world of BD Foxmoor who brought his own view of rap to Greece, that’s my opinion. I would easily work with them, I admire them a lot».

Finally, he revealed what connects him with Nikos Terzis and how the huge success of Shasmos came about:
“Nikos Terzis and I were friends, we were soldiers together. When the collaboration came I had never written lyrics before and I have managed to write 30 songs.
Nikos Terzis and Spyros Petroulakis asked me to try a verse for the song. I sent it in my voice and it was played in the first episode. I didn’t know anything. Katerina said to me: Have you taken it easy, what’s going on? Has your song been played on TV and everyone is talking about it? I answered her, I have no idea».
