A new musical titled “Hello, I’m Dolly”inspired by the legendary country star Dolly Parton will hit the Broadway stage in 2026.

“Hi, I’m Dolly and I’ve lived my whole life to see this show on stage. I have written many original songs for the show and I have included all your favorite songs as well. You will laugh, you will cry, you will clap, you will jump, it will truly be a Grand Opera”Parton said from the CMA Fest stage in Nashville.

The musical’s title is an homage to the first studio album released in 1967. She will be joined in the production in addition to Adam Spears of ATG Production by Danny Nozel through Nashville-based CTK Enterprises.

“The first time I had the pleasure of working with Dolly Parton was in 2019 when she entrusted us to create a new adaptation of the musical ‘9 to 5’ for London’s West End”said Adam Spears.

I had always heard that she wanted to do a musical based on her life, so when she asked me if I would be interested in producing it, I was thrilled. As the world knows, Dolly is a magical blend of talent, hard work, intelligence, charm, wit and a giant heart. I’m thrilled to bring her inspiring story to Broadway.”he added.

According to Deadline, casting and additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.
