Distress and stress greatly affect the eating habits of Maria Louiza Vourou
For the sudden and not pleasant publicity received by Maria Louisa Vourou at the time when her father Yannis Vouros did a DNA test questioning her paternity, she spoke today to Olga Lafazani and the show “Happy Day” among many other things.
“When the DNA test came out with my dad, I was shocked. It was difficult to see your life playing out on the channels, while you are not in that space” He said initially and continued: “Seeing my whole life on TV and hearing opinions, many of which were unreasonably bad, mainly to my mother. I didn’t like it, it forced me to comment on my life when they don’t know me.”
“Three years ago it was a very difficult period for me. I lost the stepfather who raised me. He gave me my principles and values. It was very difficult, because it was very sudden. He was a great support and the only one who understood me in general”, she confessed on Stamatina Tsimtsili’s morning show, then revealed how her eating habits are affected by distress and stress:
“There has been a period in my life when I lost a lot of weight from sadness. It was for a certain period of time and then I came back. I had some family issues, which had stressed me out. When I’m stressed or sad, I don’t want to eat. My stomach is in knots. It’s not just those who are overweight who get bullied, thin people get bullied too”
