Alice Cooper launched his new campaign for the US presidency, declaring his candidacy for the 2024 election.

The veteran rock satirist has run for president every four years since 1972.

At 76, Cooper will be the youngest of current candidates Joe Biden and Donald Trump. He will also be the only nominee to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Alice Cooper launched his first campaign in 1972 following the release of his now-classic single ‘Elected’, in the music video of which he announced his candidacy.

In a video of his new campaign that has just been released: “Well, I’m Alice Cooper, and I’m a troubled man for troubled times. I have no idea what to do, so I have to fit right in.”
