Its protagonist “House Of The Dragon”, Fabien Frankelrevealed that he auditioned for the role of George Harrison in one of Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles biopics.

The four biopics announced in February will each be shot from the perspective of a different member of the legendary group and will intersect to tell the story of the greatest band in rock history.

It was previously reported that Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson will play John Lennon, Barry Keoghan will play Ringo Starr and Charlie Rowe will star as George Harrison. In an interview with NME, Frankel revealed that he auditioned for the role of Harrison, but was not cast.

“I had an audition. But I think I look a little Latino. I would love to play George” he reported. He added that he never got around to reading the completed script of the film project.

His ‘House Of The Dragon’ co-star Matt Smith, who also took part in the interview, joked that Fabien Frankel could play Ricky Martin and started singing the Puerto Rican pop singer’s hit ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ .
