After being criticized for defending the Anti-Abortion PL for Rape, Juliano Cazarré published a video this Monday (17) and said that his eldest son, Vicente, is adopted. The actor stated that the boy was the result of Letícia’s previous abusive relationship and that “the child had the opportunity to be born”.

A day earlier, Cazarré was the target of criticism for a publication in defense of PL 1904, which is being processed urgently in the Chamber of Deputies, in Brasília. The project equates termination of pregnancy after 22 weeks to the crime of homicide.

“I have been silent for fourteen years, but Leticia already told this story. Vicente, my eldest son, is adopted. I adopted Vicente because when I met Leticia again, she was pregnant. This pregnancy came from an abusive relationship. The guy didn’t want to be a father and one of the suggestions was: ‘you’re not going to have this child’. My wife decided to have this child alone and went back to her parents’ house”, began the actor.

Cazarré recalled meeting the woman when she was five months pregnant and deciding that he would marry the biologist and be the father of the child. “After Vicente was born, I started all the legal processes and, today, with great pride, Vicente has my name, my father’s and mother’s names in place of grandmother and grandfather. Since he was born, he has never, no facts were omitted”, highlighted the actor. “He knows that, somewhere, he has a biological father. One day, if he wants, he will be able to meet him.
