Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are getting ready to work together again. According to “Deadline,” they will star in the crime thriller “RIP,” written and directed by Joe Carnahan.

The film will be produced by the two protagonists’ company ‘Artists Equity’ with shooting set to begin in the fall.

So far no other details have been leaked about the new production which has already generated a lot of interest from distribution companies to be shown either in cinemas or on streaming platforms.

It is noted that Damon and Affleck founded ‘Artists Equity’ in November 2022 and a few months later released their first film titled ‘Air’ which received great reviews and had satisfactory box office performance.

Their friendship dates back to their school days while their joint debut on the big screen was in the 1989 film ‘Field of Dreams’.

Their first high-profile moment together was in 1997 when they co-wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay for The Peculiar Will Hunting, with the late Robin Williams also taking home the golden statuette for Best Supporting Actor for his performance.
