The documentary series “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood”, already has a release date on Max: June 21st. In two 60-minute episodes, the million-dollar dispute between the singer and the businessman must be explored in detail, exposing both sides of the fight.
The dispute is well known to the singer’s fans and involves the purchase of the copyrights to the singer’s first six albums by her former manager in June 2019 and sale of them to another producer. Since then, Taylor has been re-recording all the songs that are no longer her intellectual property.
The series will bring the perspective of those who support Taylor, who argue that she was repeatedly betrayed and suffocated by men in power, but who stands up for art and what is right. In the second episode, the other side defends itself.
Opposition to Taylor explains that she was offered the opportunity to purchase the rights to her songs, but that she declined. Industry experts question whether, instead, Taylor is a manipulative businesswoman who distorted the facts and used her huge fan base against Scooter Braun and his family.
The series will feature the participation of legal experts, journalists and people close to Swift and Braun and arrives on June 21st on Max streaming.
