In an interview with Podpah this Thursday (20), Ana Maria Braga spoke about her unusual hobby: playing video games. The presenter said that she has all the consoles and likes to play for a little while to “clear her head” when she has a problem.
“I stop there for an hour, the problem disappears and the solution appears. You clear your head, clean your HD”, he said, leaving the presenters excited. “I talk to mothers, because nowadays there is a phobia against video games. Nobody goes crazy because of it, on the contrary, they become wiser”, defended Ana.
Accompanied in the interview by her son Pedro, 40, and grandson Bento, 12, Ana Maria remembered when her son was a child and she asked him to become a big boss. “I shouted ‘Pedroooo’ and he came from the boss to me”, the presenter had fun.
In the interview, Ana Maria talked about her entire professional journey until arriving at Mais Você, since she ran away from home at 18 because she wanted to study and her father wanted her to get married. Before being the owner of the mornings at Globo, the presenter was a newspaper layout designer, a reporter at TV Tupi and even press advisor to Sylvia Maluf, wife of former governor Paulo Maluf.
The presenter got emotional when talking about Tom Veiga, who was Louro José’s interpreter for 25 years and died in 2020. “He created a personality for Louro. Louro is a Corinthians fan, he’s foul-mouthed, and Tom wasn’t like that at all”, account.
She said that, once, in a radio interview, Tom had to send for Louro José because he couldn’t play the character, even if only through audio, without dressing the doll. “And he had never been a puppeteer in his life. That was a meeting of souls,” she said.
Still during the interview, Ana went under Podpah’s table after tasting Dona Val’s coconut cake and even tore silk for the presenters. “I’m delighted with the way you communicate. And it’s all in gogó, without TP [teleprompter]”, he praised.
