Darius James Perry, as the player’s full name is, was born on March 13, 1999 in the United States of America. He sees the world from 188 cm and competes in the position of Point Guard. He began his career with the NCAA and the Louisville Cardinals, where he played for three years. He then moved to the UCF Knights, where he remained for two years, before making the decision to cross the Atlantic and come to Europe. In his “rookie” season on the European courts, Perry played in Nyiregyhaza from Hungary and impressed with his versatile offering in the game, finishing the year with 22.2 points, 4.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds. His excellent year in the Hungarian league gave him the “passport” to compete in a higher level league, the German Bundesliga and the Wurzburg Baskets. His presence was also very good there, with the American counting 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
