Musical instruments, clothing, footwear, accessories, decorations, records, awards and artwork are sold at the first auction on the subject of hip hop stage organized by the house Julien’s Auctions and rapper and record producer Rick Ross.

The rapper has decided to sell luxury items he has acquired over the years and the proceeds will go to entrepreneurs to help them grow their ventures.

An 1866 William Knabe & Co piano themed around Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ album, a signed Frankie Gardona painting of Ross, memorabilia and other awards and trophies from his illustrious career are among the rapper’s collection being sold at “Push It to the Limit—Luxury & Lifestyle” auction

“I looked around one day and marveled at how blessed I am,” Ross said in a statement. “I wanted to understand what it’s like to be a blessing to others and share with the world some of the rare luxuries I’ve collected throughout my career.”

A pair of sneakers Air Jordan 3 “Father of Asahd” created in 2018 as part of an exclusive collaboration with the rapper’s longtime friend and collaborator, DJ Khaled are on public display for the first time and are expected to sell for between $3,000 and $5,000.

“Inspired by my brother Pharrell (Williams), I came up with an auction to help the next generation of entrepreneurs with the proceeds,” added Ross.

The amount of money raised will empower black creatives and entrepreneurs with grants to accelerate their ongoing impact, business initiatives and business activities through the Boss Up Grant program.

“Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm and record-breaking bids, Julien’s Auctions and Rick Ross have jointly decided to extend the bidding deadline to July 8th and July 9th, 2024.
