After saying goodbye to SBT in style on its Eliana Program, the presenter received a second farewell on the next attraction, on the Silvio Santos Program, with Patrícia Abravanel.
In a mix of an apology and a dig, Patrícia apologized to the presenter. “I don’t know what happened here at SBT, but on behalf of SBT and the family, I want to ask for your forgiveness”, began Patrícia.
“If someone did or said something that made you feel disrespected, undeserved, I want, on behalf of the Abravanel family and the entire Silvio Santos Group and SBT, to ask you to forgive us,” he continued.
“I don’t know what happened, I don’t know where this feeling came from, but may you go into this new cycle knowing that you are loved here”, continued Silvio’s daughter.
“I also love it here a lot”, replied Eliana, being quickly cut off by Patrícia, who continued her speech.
“There is no SBT without Eliana. You are part of our history. We have a lot of affection, respect and admiration for you. The doors here will always be open for you. May you leave with a clean heart. If something happened in here, I don’t know, but I ask for your forgiveness. Forgive us. Go free and confident and know that you have a home to return to if you want”, insisted the broadcaster’s heiress.
Eliana, who will soon be announced as Globo’s new hire, leaves SBT after 15 years in her second stint at the broadcaster.
In her last program, which aired immediately before Patrícia’s, the blonde performed a duet with Daniel and received affection from her children, teammates and former participants of the show.
