Although he is very close to his family o Christoforos Papakaliatis he doesn’t usually post such personal moments online.

But this three days was different. After several months of filming for his Maestro, Christoforos was in Santorini to spend a few days of relaxation and rest with two of his family members in one of their hotel businesses.

So a family reunion for Manolis Papakaliatis with his two eldest sons. Christopher and Philip.
Christoforos Papakaliatis and Philippos are the children that Manolis Papakaliatis had from his first marriage and then two more children were born from his second marriage, Stefanos and Nara.

All four brothers are very close to each other and keep close company, especially in Crete where the two youngest members of the family live and work professionally.
Although both Christoforos Papakaliatis’ father and mother are successfully active professionally in the field of tourism, Christoforos never showed any interest in getting involved with the family business.

When it became known that the Maestro series will play on Netflix, his father – who, among others, is also a sports figure in Crete – had said speaking on the television show Winner of the local Creta Tv:
A parent can’t help but be proud when he sees his children doing well, moving up.
Christoforos had an artistic inclination from a young age, I think he got something from his grandmother. From my mother. My mother was a painter, an amateur, but a painter.
Christoforos has no idea about sports. I remember when Giannis Rallis played his first referee game, it was in ’83, just before Christmas.
The Olympiakos-Panhellenios game was being played in Papastrateio and we had gone with friends from ODKE (Basketball Referees Federation of Greece) to see it and I had also taken Christoforos along.
And I tell him come here to watch the game and he didn’t show any interest. He got up and left. He had other interests
