Three houses in the luxury condominium where singers Leonardo, Virginia Fonseca, Zé Felipe, Maiara and Maraisa and Joelma live, in Goiânia, were robbed last Saturday night (22). The residential complex, full of mansions, is a stronghold for country singers in the capital of Goiás. Marília Mendonça also lived there.
According to the Military Police of the state of Goiás, when they were called, residents reported that they were absent from their homes and, upon returning, they found their homes broken into and some objects stolen. It was found that the location has Private Security that monitors and protects condominium owners.
The 10th Police Department of Goiânia is investigating the case. According to the police station, investigations are being carried out and, therefore, it is not yet possible to determine the concrete value of the damage caused by the robberies. According to the Mais Goiás portal, a victim reported that the objects taken included a safe with jewelry, passports and a notebook, resulting in an estimated financial loss of R$150,000.
On social media, Poliana Rocha, Leonardo’s wife, appealed for safety at the scene. She republished the news and wrote: “We value more security in our condominium.”
Also according to Portal Mais, another resident published a video on his social networks showing the situation in which the criminals left the house. “Do you think that living in a gated community has maximum security? That night they entered my house, with me inside the house. [bagunça], they wanted to take my safe and couldn’t carry it. They took my children’s laptops and damaged my car,” he said.
The condominium is located in the Residencial Aldeia do Vale neighborhood, on the east end of the capital of Goiás. Founded in 1997, it is one of the most luxurious in the city. Inside the place there are various types of commerce and several sports areas. The houses are located in a natural area, which has 19 lakes with their own springs and frequent visits from animals.
A sales website shows 177 property options available in the condominium. The values range from R$1,980,000 to R$27 million.
