What was the trick that made Dona Déa do pirouettes on the Domingão stage?

Last Sunday (23), Dona Déa, 76 years old, surprised the Domingão audience with front and back somersaults, cartwheels, pirouettes and other acrobatics on stage.

In fact, it was not Paulo Gustavo’s mother who did the tricks. Dona Déa was played by a stuntwoman, with whom she posed for photos on Instagram.

“Nice to meet you, I’m the athlete version of Dona Déa!”, wrote break athlete Manu Aparecida. “What an honor it is to work as Dona Déa’s stunt double. I believe she represents the mothers of Brazil, who are intense and are called ‘crazy’ and who do everything for their children.”

In the photo, Manuela wears a costume with padding to have a body similar to Dona Déa’s. She also wears a black Chanel wig and wears clothes just like the Domingão commentator. The dancer also got makeup with wrinkles.

The stuntwoman continued the text saying that Déa Lúcia reminds her of her own mother. “I see a lot of my mother in her, she was always very supportive of my choice to pursue a career in sport and art, just like Dona Déa. Being an artist in Brazil is an act of resistance! There was so much emotion when I saw her that I couldn’t hold back the tears”, confessed the break dancer.
