Anastasiia Lenna, Miss Grand Ukraine in 2015, seems to have traded heels for combat boots. The model, who represented her country at Miss Grand International, posted photos with weapons on her social media and said that the invaders of her country will die.
“Training. Invaders will die in our country. Wait and see what happens,” Lenna said in her Instagram stories, showing images of herself shooting at paper targets, between pleas for help and calls for the War in Ukraine.
“Anyone who wants to join the security forces, from Europe or the world, can come and stand side by side with the Ukrainians against the invaders of the 21st century. Ask your embassy. Come and fight with us!” another post, in english.
Ukraine had its territory invaded by Russian military last Thursday (24). Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, has already been taken over by the neighboring country and the capital, Kiev, remains under shelling. More than 350,000 people have fled the country, most to Poland.
Lenna, who according to the New York Post has a degree in marketing and management from Slavistik University in Kiev, already posted pictures with airsoft guns and combat clothes on her social media before the Russian invasion. She has worked in public relations and speaks five languages.
