Congratulations, may you be happy, says Alexandre Frota about pregnancy revealed by son with whom he has no contact

Alexandre Frota’s son, Mayã Frota, 26, will have a girl. His wife is pregnant. The news was revealed through social media.

Mayã has a bad relationship with Frota and they have not spoken or seen each other for over ten years. In 2018, Mayã, then 18 years old, criticized the fact that her father had been elected at the time as a federal deputy for São Paulo and even stated that he had blocked her on social media.

“I am the son of a former porn actor, former cocaine addict, who defends the family, but wanted to abort me. How he became the current federal deputy of São Paulo, I don’t know,” said Mayã, in a message on Twitter at the time.

When asked to comment on the pregnancy, Frota responded to F5: “Congratulations to them, may they be happy. May God protect the couple and their daughter. Much peace, health and light.” When asked if he intends to visit the child at birth and about a possible rapprochement with his heir, Frota declined to comment further.

Mayã Frota is the son of personal trainer Samantha Lima Gondim, who was Frota’s girlfriend in the 1990s. To the old website Ego, Mayã said that she dreamed of pursuing a career as a model and that she had not had contact with her father since 2013.

In a video made live on Facebook at the time of the public dispute, Alexandre Frota gave a long response to his son. “Today, I was surprised by a message from my son, who is currently living in Belgium. He said he doesn’t understand how I was elected and I won’t leave him without an answer,” he began.

“I was elected with more than 152 thousand votes, because these people believed in my work that has been done since 2013. These people were not prejudiced, false or moralistic”, stated Frota.

Regarding the fact that he almost had an abortion, Frota says that this was never an option. “I never wanted to abort you, especially because that would have been your mother’s choice. I have always been against abortion. Today you should know my whole story,” the actor pondered.

Frota also confronted the fact that he had been a porn actor and a drug addict. “I was an actor for TV Globo, and when I became a porn actor, you were already four years old. And from that work, you studied, ate and dressed yourself. All with the money from pornography. For a long time, you and your mother were supported with that money,” he said.
