Especially proud of her 26-year-old daughter Phaedra Daioglou is Hiro Manet. The beautiful Phaedra-Maria-Emiliana studied Social Anthropology at Panteio but inside she knew very well what she wanted to do and that was always dancing.

Phaedra, dances professionally, teaches dance and kinesiology and has been choreographing performances for years and now also the performances of the Artistic Swimming athletes who will compete in the Olympic Games in Paris. And specifically World Champion Evangelia Plataniotis – the general public got to know her through her participation in the reality show Nomads in 2017 – and Sofia Malkogeorgos, with whom they will compete together as a duet.

A partnership that started in the “Black Raven” look that also brought Evangelia gold at the World Championships a while ago.
Phaedra has even spoken about this collaboration in Grace magazine:

“Success is anyway – and clearly – the whole of the Gospel. I am just grateful to the coach of the National Artistic Swimming Team, Nastia Gutseva, who trusts me since 2021 and includes me in the dreams and struggles of the girls, who are overflowing with love, sacrifice, dedication, stubbornness and connection with soul and body . The levels are very high” Phaedra Diaoglu said and continued:

“The girls put up an unimaginable fight against many adverse conditions. Indeed, Evangelia and I worked together on the “Black Raven”, with which she won the gold medal, but also on the backboard in her free program, with which she won the silver. It was an honor to be able to give her a piece of me in this exploration of her own bottom.

In the Olympics, she travels with her teammate Sofia Malkogeorgou and they will compete in a duet. These are two stars that I deeply respect and appreciate. They have a creepy passion that I admire. It is a huge moment and we wish everyone to experience it in the best possible way.

I am sure that in Paris they will be very emotional. They are preparing two new, very special choreographies, one with a deep Greek element, the music of Mikis Theodorakis, entitled “The Kites”, and the other full of contrasts. The combination of these two is for me the definition of a Greek athlete – and not only that.”

While she also answered to what extent her involvement with the artistic field is due to Yro Manet’s mother:

“I imagine I would inevitably come face to face with this world since I was listening to it even before I was born. I was born with this inclination towards the arts in general, they fascinated me from a very young age. If indeed I inherited it from my mother, then I deeply thank nature and biology for it. My mother made sure to enroll me at the age of 3 in a dance hall and a little later in a music hall. The rest was left to me.”

On the other hand, the proud mom passing by Studio 4 did not fail to mention her girl and his work, stressing that everything she has done she has achieved alone.
