Singer Jennifer Lopez and presenter Jimmy Fallon decided to team up to write a bilingual children’s book together.
Scheduled to be released in October in the United States, “Con Pollo: A Bilingual Playtime Adventure” will have illustrations by Andrea Campos and will teach children Spanish along with a friendly rooster named Pollo.
“I’m so excited to release my first children’s book and it’s even more special to be a collaboration with Jimmy,” Lopez, who is already the bestselling author of “True Love,” told people.
The presenter says that the two always wanted to do something together and that he always admired the singer’s motherhood. “Since we are both parents, we thought a children’s book would be the best match,” he said.
“It’s fun and educational and my high school Spanish teachers will be very impressed to hear that I’m teaching kids to speak Spanish with Jennifer Lopez.”
Fallon is already a veteran in the children’s book market, with four books in his account. They are: “Your Baby’s First Words Will Be Dada”, “Everything Is Mama”, “This Is Baby” and “Five More Sleeps ‘Til Christmas”. For March, in the same publisher that his partnership with Lopez will be published (Feiwel & Friends), he releases the fifth book “Nana Loves You More”.
