The “table tennis wizard” died in 2012
The French-American star, Timotee Salamewill star and at the same time be one of the producers in “Marty Supreme”, an original film by Josh Safdie and A24. According to Variety, the film will be inspired by legendary table tennis champion Marty Raisman.
The script is signed by the director and Ronald Bronstein, who will also share the production with Eli Bush and Anthony Katagas.

A24 confirmed the news in a social media post, promising that it’s “coming soon.”
The “table tennis wizard”, as he was known, won 22 table tennis titles from 1946 to 2002, winning five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships. He died in 2012.
“Marty Supreme” marks Safdie’s first film in the director’s chair since “Uncut Gems” and his first solo directorial effort without his brother Ben since his debut, 2008’s “The Pleasure of Being Robbed.”
