In the context of the tour and its stations in Crete, the Anna Vissi gave an interview to the Creta Live camera and Elina Farsari.

Coming from Cyprus, where she gave three concerts in her hometown of Larnaca, Anna Vissi referred to the special relationship she maintains with Crete, pointing out that her appearances on the island are of great importance to her. “I want to give back to the Cretans, all the honor they give me”, she said characteristically and referred to the first tour of her career which took place again in Crete, alongside the “archangel” Nikos Xylouris.

Of course, she addressed her relationship with the audience, unable to hide her excitement for her younger fans who made “I Prefer” the absolute hit of the summer. “After a 51-year career I could only be grateful. I think my relationship with time is normal, it only scares me under certain conditions, of ceasing to be who I am, ceasing to be well. The wear and tear that comes with time is unfortunately a given and we should resist as best we can.” said Anna Vissi and continued:

“It’s not about selling tickets, it’s about giving people what they expect and maybe more. This is what I strive for with Nikos Karvelas and my collaborators on stage. The times always require you to evolve.”

While of course she also talked about her alter ego Nikos Karvelas: “Nikos and I will always prepare something. Making a new play is still under consideration, a theme has to be found, like “Demons”, “Mala” and “Edelweiss Bells” had. It’s not something planned.”
