On Tattoo Artist’s Day, see curious designs and messages that personalities wear on their bodies

This Saturday (20), we celebrate Tattoo Artist’s Day. Many people didn’t even know that this event existed, but yes. There is a specific date to honor those who leave indelible traces and designs on the skin of so many people and, to celebrate it, F5 publishes the testimonies of some celebrities about their tattoos.

For many of them, body prints have become a way to tell their stories and mark significant moments in their lives. One example is chef Janaina Torres, who after being touched by a jaguar in the middle of the Pantanal decided to get an “animal print” on her arm. Another animal, a tiger, is immortalized on the belly of model Andressa Urach.

Creativity has no limits when it comes to tattoos. And here is influencer Gustavo Tubarão who proves it. He has a cheese bread recipe on his arm. The design reminds him fondly of his grandmother, just like MasterChef (Band) judge Henrique Fogaça. His favorite tattoo, an oriental goddess, is a reference to his eldest daughter, Olívia.

And what about the letter J that actor João Guilherme has on his butt? According to him, the intimate photo was taken by his ex-girlfriend, actress and influencer Jade Picon. The case of Giovanna Lancelotti is interesting, as she tattooed a message in Arabic on her foot — but the meaning was far from what she wanted to forever stamp on that part of her body.

“I only found out later that I was wrong,” says the actress, who displays an enigmatic phrase “They are watching you”, instead of the “muse” she intended to immortalize there, in a passionate combination made with her then boyfriend, Caio Castro, in 2012. He tattooed the same phrase (incorrectly) on his arm. Giovanna had researched it on the internet and did not check the translation before taking it to the tattoo artist.
