“Everyone needs to come together to stop Israelis and Palestinians dying because no one deserves to die this way,” the actress said in an interview
Susan Sarandon has repeatedly expressed its solidarity with the beleaguered Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The actress, once again, stated that she will continue to use her voice to speak out against injustice, despite the backlash she has received.
The Oscar-winning actress has voiced her support for Palestine and attended several rallies calling for a ceasefire in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out.
And last year, Sarandon — because of that stance — was fired from her Hollywood agency, the United Talent Agency, which is run by Jewish CEO Jeremy Zimmer, for what the agency said were “controversial” comments she made at a pro-Palestine rally.

Susan Sarandon, who has been a constant presence for many years in actions in favor of human rights and civil liberties, has not stopped publishing on X comments about the just and existential struggle of the Palestinians. “You don’t have to be Palestinian to care about what’s happening in Gaza. I am with Palestine. No one is free until we are all free”the actress had written on X (formerly Twitter).

The actress again apologized for her statement about Jews that “a lot of people are scared right now because they’re Jewish and they’re getting a taste of what it’s like to be a Muslim in this country.” She said in her interview that it was a terrible mistake she made, wording-wise. However, she reiterated her desire to end the “genocide” in Gaza.
The star of “Thelma and Louise” explained that her position as a famous actress allows her to raise social issues and become the “voice” of the wronged.

Sarandon has revealed her stance is now on Hollywood’s ‘blacklist’, has spoken out about being kicked out of the entertainment industry, but insists everyone needs to come together to stop Israelis and Palestinians dying because “no one deserves to die this way.”
He said: “Injustice has always hurt and angered me. I grew up in Washington, D.C. in the 60s, with the Vietnam War looming at the time and assassinations like Kennedy’s and Martin Luther King Jr.’s overshadowing our culture. That’s why I’m so amazed by the misinformation that exists today, in an age where we have everything at our fingertips. It is up to each of us to stop the genocide happening in Gaza.

I understand that it is hard to accept that we are all part of the problem, but a war like this is only supported by our taxes, your money and mine. That’s why it’s admirable that countries like Spain, Ireland or Norway are raising their voices and saying: ”We don’t want to contribute to this.”the actress concluded.
