It sounds crazy at first, but the point is that a variation of this treatment is already popular overseas. Polynucleotide injections, made with DNA derived from fish sperm, have gained some publicity recently after appearing in Australia and Korea. Studies have shown that polynucleotides can be beneficial for wound healing by supporting tissue regeneration and stimulating collagen production. As an injectable, early in vivo studies have shown improvement in skin tone, fine lines, skin elasticity and hydration.

The injections go by names like Pluryal Silk and Nucleofill, and some doctors overseas use them as a skin enhancer (with superficial injections to make the skin glow) or mixed with hyaluronic acid for immediate augmentation and enhanced skin regeneration over time .

Kardashian didn’t specify what kind of treatment she had or where she had it!

Turns out Kardashian isn’t the only celebrity experimenting with fish sperm as a skin treatment. In 2023, Jennifer Aniston shared that she had tried it too. “First of all, I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get the salmon sperm?”’ Aniston told the WSJ, adding that she hasn’t seen significant results and prefers weekly peptide treatments.
