The “Baywatch” actress spoke to “Better Homes & Gardens” about her new cookbook and her quiet life on Vancouver Island, and revealed that she’s been gaining new fans since she decided to “embrace” her natural beauty.

“Now people stop me on the street and say, ‘You know, I never liked you before, but now I like you.’ And then I think, that’s a compliment”the 57-year-old actress said.
THE Anderson said she initially didn’t think anyone would notice when she opted to go make-up-free at Paris Fashion Week in 2023. The blonde bombshell, who made red swimwear popular in the 1990s, said her perspective on beauty changed after the death of her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who died of breast cancer in 2019. “Alexis Vogel was the best. And since then, I just felt that, without her, it’s better for me not to wear makeup.”
“Not getting painted is liberating, fun and a little bit revolutionary,” she explained. “This was the beginning of the liberation of the image I always had of myself. What is this cartoon character I had created? Okay, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore”he added.
