Heloísa Araújo, 23, had her participation in Estrela da Casa confirmed this Thursday (8). The indigenous woman from the Kariri-Xocó village, in Alagoas, will represent the romantic country music in the musical reality show.
A fan of Marília Mendonça, Heloísa began to have contact with music when she was still a child, influenced by her grandfather, who taught her native songs from an early age. She says that she likes to compose about the struggle and daily life of her people. In her repertoire, she includes indigenous elements, such as drums and rattles.
The young woman describes herself as a Northeastern woman with a strong, cheerful personality, but confesses to having a short fuse: “I get into arguments, I’m not ashamed to show this side of me. When I see that something is wrong, I want to resolve it,” she says.
Competitive, she also considers herself a gossip or, as she says, a “chic gossip”. With Estrela da Casa, she wants to promote her career nationally and show the indigenous strength of northeastern Brazil. “There is no one better than us to talk about our history”, she explains.
Estrela da Casa will be hosted by former BBB Ana Clara Lima. The program will start airing next Tuesday (13) on TV Globo, with reruns on Multishow. The confinement will be broadcast 24 hours a day on Globoplay.
