His family had a different July Apostoli Totsika and her Roulas Revi since for about 10 days together with their twin children they volunteered in one of her villages Tanzania.

A life experience that she says she will do again and that it was a great lesson.

“I’ve traveled a lot, I hadn’t touched Africa maybe because I knew inside that everything would change, sometimes we avoid the big change and other times it comes when it’s time” wrote the photographer and continued:

“Hope is @wheeling2help there is a fantastic and true story behind this person and the whole phase… I didn’t ask much, she told me your life will be before and after Africa, it will now be divided into 2 worlds and 2 lives. I waited for the big lesson and I got it, oh yes I got it, and I accepted it for the first time without resisting like the previous ones when life was giving me lessons and I was going against it!

I will explain the trip to you, I say let’s do a nice live because you ask me too many things. But let’s get it right with those who should tell you better than me. For now, I want you to know that I cannot be a tourist again. Because in the village in gongo hands were not extended to ask but only to hug and when I begged to give something our wise friend and leader @eirini.tenta and wonderful teacher told me not to because what I need to give I have already offered with my hug, he was so right.

Then when I moved to the most touristic places I saw the familiar image of this other life that we all live, with the money and the crazy consumption and the stupidity but nothing spoiled what I lived and now I see it in the photos and I cry with joy that I did and I will definitely do it again. I really want to say that I first took this trip to “save” myself from my fears for my children and that’s how it happened, it happened automatically as soon as I got there but I wasn’t alone!

We were a team that met for the first time and now we adore each other … because we will always look at each other and our gaze will have that sweet dust, orange aura of Africa and the village in Tanzania. People who might have passed each other in everyday life, but there we saw that we are all one!

Finally, I want to say a huge thank you to my children, since they were born and proved to me that I shouldn’t be afraid until this journey that they took me by the hand and we lived it.”
