The story of the girl Liz Ibba dos Santos, 3, one of the victims of the Voepass plane crash that killed 62 people in Vinhedo, in the interior of São Paulo, moved the singer Sandy.
“Very, very moved by the story that appeared on Fantástico about little Liz, who loved ‘Areia’ so much. My chest is crushed just thinking about this mother’s pain,” wrote Sandy after watching a report in which the child appears singing.
In an interview with Fantástico, journalist Adriana Ibba, Liz’s mother, said that her daughter got into the car and asked to listen to Sandy and Lucas Lima’s song. “She sang beautifully,” she said.
Lucas was also shaken by the story. He said on social media that he tried to avoid hearing the news about the accident, but he received the video in which the mother talks about her daughter’s love for music and he couldn’t help but be moved.
“All the love in the world to this mother who is living the worst nightmare of all those who have children,” he said.
The girl was traveling with her father, programmer Rafael Fernando dos Santos, 41, who also died in the accident. They were going to spend Father’s Day in Florianópolis.
Adriana received a message from her daughter when she had already boarded the plane. In a conversation mediated by her father, the child said that she was already on the plane and sent a kiss.
Earlier, in images also shown on Fantástico, Liz appears playing at Cascavel airport (PR) with Joslan Perez, a 5-year-old boy who died in the plane crash alongside his mother and grandmother. The family was Venezuelan and was trying to return to their home country.
According to reports that Adriana heard, Joslan fell during the game and Liz gave him a hand to get up.
“She was very generous, very wonderful,” he said. “I lost the best part of me. The most beautiful thing. She was happy, she hugged, she kissed.”
The journalist says she will follow the investigations into the plane crash that killed 62 people and demands an answer.
“I really want to know what happened. This is unbelievable.”
The lyrics of “Areia”, which Liz liked to sing, speak of fragments of a life shared with someone, a detail that was highlighted by the girl’s mother in the interview.
Sandy wished comfort to Adriana and the other families who were victims of the tragedy.
