The famous director Quentin Tarantino (Quentin Tarantino), a guest on Bill Maher’s ‘Club Random’ podcast, said he wants to put on a play, admitted that he has started writing something, and hinted that he would like it to be a comedy.

“At the moment I’m more concerned with the prospect of writing a comedy for the theatre,” the talented director told the podcast, when the host asked him “why not a movie?” he replied:

“If the play is successful, then I’ll probably make it into a movie.”

“The lure for the director,” Tarantino continued, especially if it’s a comedy, is that “in a comedy, the audience is one of the characters…and when that works it’s an entertaining experience…which is difficult to be captured in cinema”.

Earlier in the year, Tarantino was set to shoot The Movie Critic, starring Brad Pitt, until Deadline revealed that he had left the project for another production. According to World of Reel, Tarantino rewrote the “Movie Critic” script, did a new draft, and then, quite simply, changed his mind.
