The lawsuit involving presenters Sonia Abrão and Patricia Poeta in court has come to an end. To put an end to the imbroglio, the host of A Tarde É Sua (RedeTV!) will pay eight minimum wages (R$11,296) to the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. In the lawsuit, Poeta sued her and columnist Alessandro Lo-Bianco and said that they had invented facts and persecuted her on the daily show.
THE F5 had access to the agreement. Initially, Patrícia suggested the payment of 20 minimum wages (more than R$28 thousand) that should be reverted to the victims so that, in some way, the process would bring at least one positive result.
Despite initially refusing the deal, Sonia backed down and ended up agreeing to pay eight salaries. “This chapter is finally over, with Patrícia proving that she suffered unfounded and cruel accusations. Patrícia has always had a clear conscience, but now her heart is too,” her press office said in a statement sent to F5. When asked, Sonia did not respond.
In October last year, columnist Alessandro Lo-Bianco was acquitted in the first instance. The F5 had access to the sentence of the case, which was heard in the 26th Criminal Court of the TJ-SP (Court of Justice of São Paulo). For judge Ana Claudia dos Santos Sillas, Lo-Bianco did not commit a crime.
