William Bonner, 60, took a quick break from Jornal Nacional, on Globo, and chose to enjoy the beauty of the city of Paris, France. The presenter interacted with Brazilian tourists at the Musée de l’Orangerie, located on Place de la Concorde, this Monday (2). Friendly with those who approached him to ask about his health, he said that he was “still not 100%” after Covid.
He also complained about the heat and lack of humidity that have been affecting the French capital in recent days, causing symptoms such as a runny nose, breathing difficulties and eye irritation, for example. “I feel a bit more tired in this heat,” he said.
Bonner announced that he had been diagnosed with Covid-19 on Thursday, August 15, when he posted an image showing a test. This would be the second time that the presenter tested positive for the coronavirus.
After Bonner was diagnosed, César Tralli was appointed to replace his colleague during the isolation period. Renata Vasconcellos, who shares the news desk with the journalist, tested negative and continued to present JN normally during the incumbent’s absence.
