‘Don’t be a slave to money’, says Gusttavo Lima on board a yacht with a daily rate of more than R$1 million

Gusttavo Lima decided to celebrate his 35th birthday in style. The country singer and his wife Andressa Suita invited a small group of friends to celebrate his birthday in Mykonos, Greece, and they are all aboard a superyacht. The vessel, which has a panoramic elevator, seven guest cabins, a VIP suite and a lighted gym on the terrace, has a daily rental price of 200 thousand euros, the equivalent of more than R$1 million at the current exchange rate.

The country singer, who recently put a R$150 million apartment up for sale in Miami, United States, celebrated his new age with a speech. “Live life wisely and with your feet on the ground. That’s it, don’t be a slave to money. Don’t be a slave to time,” began Gusttavo, who reinforced the opportunity to live in the “best way possible”. “May you be able to work, rest, enjoy your family, regardless of anything. The most valuable thing we have in our lives is time.”

In the video published by presenter Renato Sertanejeiro, Gusttavo also advises the select group to use their “intelligence” and “work”. “Enjoy life wisely and use your intelligence. Work too, because a boy who sits still doesn’t sell popsicles”. In February, he became the majority shareholder of SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol) of Paranavaí, a club from the interior of Paraná, which plays in the state’s Second Division.

According to the Yacht Charter Fleet website, Project X has accommodations for up to 12 people in nine suites. The spaces inside the yacht include, for example, a master suite, a VIP cabin and five double cabins. The price of this vessel could exceed R$1 billion.

Gusttavo Lima’s advisors told F5 that the singer rented the vessel. “He is on vacation in Greece and rented the yacht there. In 2020, Andressa Suita’s husband bought the yacht Lady Laura IV from Roberto Carlos for R$25 million. The 35-meter-long vessel with five cabins was given a new name: Ambassador.
