Unahi: “I wanted to come to a team that trusts me – To relive the atmosphere of the PAO fans”

Unahi made special reference to the Panathinaikos fans in his first statements after his arrival in Athens.

The Moroccan ace pointed out that he wanted to come to a team that trusts him something that he found that was the case from the first moment…

“I remember the game with Panathinaikos in the qualifiers last year and how warm the atmosphere was and I’m happy to see them again. I know that both in the Velodrome and in Athens the atmosphere is one of the hottest. I’ve seen a lot of games and how they support the team and it’s something I want to see again.” he mentioned – initially – and continued:

“As I said before, it was a very difficult choice and one that I made the day before when I spoke with the coach. It’s true that I had a very good feeling when he spoke to the technical director and the president. I have to say that I found myself in a difficult situation in Marseille and I wanted to go to a team that trusts me.
