Jennifer Garnerex-wife of Ben Affleck, opened the doors to her stunning $7.9 million ranch-style home.

The 52-year-old actress, who bought the property in 2019 after her divorce from Affleck was finalized, gave Architectural Digest a tour of her stunning property, which she built “from the ground up.”

After moving out of the 8,798-square-foot mansion she once shared with her ex-husband and their three children, the actress set her sights on creating her dream home in Brentwood. And he succeeded!

“I realized I would have to move out of a dream house”she said, recalling her search for the perfect place to raise her family. And he continued: “I was looking for a house to move into, but I needed privacy and what I saw was big and I didn’t feel comfortable”.

After being “disappointed” with what was on the market, she opted to purchase a lot and worked with designer Brooke Giannetti and architect Steve Giannetti.

“I started to panic in the middle of the build,” he admitted. “I thought I’ve never made a single Pinterest board. I never even showed him pictures from a magazine. I just told him what I wanted and he did it… In the end, I’m very, very happy.”

The mother of three explained to the magazine that it was the first time she had made design decisions on her own. So the actress created a Harry Potter-themed office for her son, an aquarium for their fish, and a slumber party room.

The actress, who was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, went on to say that her favorite spot in the house was the upstairs reading nook. Jennifer Garner also has her own vegetable garden and not only that…

“I’m pro-herbs”he said. “Mostly I want thyme. I can’t farm enough. My kids and I love kale chips.”

Apart from spending time in the kitchen cooking for her children, she revealed that she also enjoys hosting friends. “I am filled with gratitude every time I enter my home,” Garner said. “Where can I live here. I’m lucky to have the children near me.”
