In the place that has become her home and where she lives with the man of her life Michalis Quinelis and Anatoli’s daughter, Alexandroupoli was welcomed by Ivi Adamou her compatriot Christiana Aristotelous.

The singer took the presenter of the show “Me agape Christiana” of Alpha Cyprus on a tour of her city and talked about everything. First of all about motherhood and the changes that the birth of her daughter brought to her life.

-How has motherhood changed you? Do you see differences in Ebi?

“Alas. Mainly with motherhood there were changes. No relation. I don’t even remember what I did before so you can imagine. I don’t remember what I did in my life.
Now I feel that everything has a meaning, a purpose. There is a reason I do them, the child gives me strength. I feel that I matured too quickly because he is not only ignorant of you, you are concerned for a man who expects from you.

Motherhood is a big chapter for me. Large. Very important. And the way I think and that gave me strength to move forward, to claim things, to know better what I want, what I don’t want and the choice in people. Motherhood played a big role”

Then Christiana Aristotelous asked her about the reactions that the chorus of the summer hit “You Said” has caused in a part of the public that some radio stations do not play the version that includes the word “pipes”.

“Eipes is a song that I love. It’s totally summery and I thought people would relate to that. So many women text me and tell me it’s their anthem, they identify with the lyrics. It’s not by chance” said Ivi Adamou and continued:

“The verse speaks truths. What if we hear lies in our everyday life! Now some people with the word pipes seemed strange to them. The meaning was completely different, I don’t want to explain the obvious, that we didn’t mean it in the cunning sense but in the sense of lies

Michalis would never write anything strange or blasphemous. Let it be a word that we all use in everyday life, let’s not play it innocent now. Someone will always say something negative, no matter how well you do things. Artists are always in the spotlight, everyone has something to say.”
